Simplicity and Space // Special Guest Milana Leshinsky (Episode 76)

I was only 20 minutes into my conversation with this week’s special guest, Milana Leshinsky, when she shared this wonderful nugget with me:nbsp;

“Imagine that growing your business is as simple as waking up and being you.”

nbsp;

Wow!

This is just one of several powerful statements Milana made during our conversation that stuck with me long after our interview was over.nbsp;

Her insight and experience is invaluable to anyone looking to find the balance between building a business that fits your life and the growth and success you desire.

Milana shares several key lessons she has learned over the years as she has built several businesses from the ground up. She came to the United States as a musician from the Ukraine and quickly learned that her set of “super skills” would lead her on a completely different path.

Her story is inspiring and very educational… and so relatable for anyone on the journey of entrepreneurship.

nbsp;

“How much space are you willing to let your business take up in your life?”

Such an important question and another one of my favorite ah-ha moments from Milana! It made me stop and think about times in the past when I’ve maybe been too involved with my business at the expense of missing time with family or spending time finding joy in my life. Milana assures us that by staying focused on our passion and true motivation, we can run a business that is motivating, fulfilling, and even FUN... without missing out on creating our personal joy.

nbsp;

“Your business vision is guided by the vision for your life.”

We all have a unique vision for the joyful life we want to create. Is our business in line with that vision? How often do we find ourselves in a position where the work we do is becoming more of a distraction or hindrance to achieving what we really want? Listen to Milana share an important discovery she made while trying to push a part of her business that wasn’t part of her life’s vision (keyword – migraine headaches!).

nbsp;

“Simplicity is subjective.”

Milana is big on simplicity and she shares her thoughts on how we can all be more successful in business and in our personal lives by finding our “simplicity zone.” But she’s quick to point out that simplicity is different for everyone. This is where our own “super skills” come into play – the things that we are naturally good at, but don’t always recognize.

nbsp;

I just LOVE the insights that show up and the wisdom we get to share together on this joyful living journey! Milana is a remarkable example and teacher, and it was such a privilege to connect with her and feel of her passion and energy for creating joy and simplicity in life and in business.

I would love to hear your thoughts about today's conversation and to take in your perspective on how we can each find and create clarity, space, simplicity and JOY in our lives. Head on over to the Soulful Business and Branding Facebook Group to share!
